Introduction to the Welding Technician Course
The Welding Technician Course is meticulously designed to equip students with both practical and theoretical knowledge essential for excelling in the welding industry.
Welding is the process of joining two or more parts of metal to create a permanent joint. Although it is a relatively new entrant among fabrication processes, it has quickly become indispensable. Various welding methods exist, but arc welding with coated electrodes remains the most popular worldwide. This technique is crucial for the large-scale production of heavy items such as ships, pressure vessels, and bridges, making welding a cornerstone of industrial fabrication.
Course Duration – Six Months (Two Batches a Year)
Spanning a duration of six months, this course accommodates between 30 to 40 students per batch, ensuring a focused and hands-on learning experience. Students can enroll in the batch starting on 15th July or the batch starting on 15th January annually.
Course Outcome
Upon completion of this six-month course, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of both gas and arc welding processes. They will acquire the skills needed to join metal pieces for diverse industrial applications, enabling them to carry out welding tasks skillfully and confidently.
